Kozo

Kozo is a word for that strange feeling of desire and repulsion experienced when a person feels attracted to something… but only from behind. It is used in a wide variety of contexts, from kozo for a woman that turns out to be a man, to kozo when somebody’s hideous facial features ruin their sexual attractiveness, and even cultural kozo such as was collectively experienced after Jod Soma legend Vash Lopmax’s apocalyptic pitch.

There is a great deal of academic debate about the nature of kozo. Unlike similar emotions such as love and hate it is often difficult to draw a distinction between emotional kozo and the results of that emotion. Neorationalists argue that kozo isn’t a proper emotion and instead should be considered a complex of simpler emotions. Cybergnosticians place great value in kozo as a vital initiatory experience wherein the demiurgical veil is lifted for the first time in symbolic, vulgar form. Most academics favor Yiprao Glasya’s tautological assertion that “its just a fucking emotion, get over it already.”
