Apilael

Apilael (the Far-Seer, the Starry-Eyed, He That Dwelleth Beyond the Horizon) was a deva associated with dreams and prognostication. He was frequently called upon by the prophet Ezdsos of Obia Decimus (and his subsequent incarnations Iatzer and Habizenx) to temporarily bestow chronopia, the power to see events that have passed as well as those that have yet to pass, to himself or his disciples. This gift was best used sparingly, as it had the cumulative effect of causing progressive blindness.

Apilael was also paid homage by the Cult of Feng-Ioch, who offered tribute with the eyes of stillborn children or those of the freshly dead. The deva was reportedly subjugated and bound within a battle helm by the Arch-Vizier Jakkorrob of Ziru-Muj IV, which enabled the wearer to view the actions of his opponents one second into the future. This artifact was lost in the Sixth Great Sundering of 4109 (Orahalcian calendar), along with numerous other arms imbued with devatic essence.
